Simple Tips to Thrive This Mercury Retrograde 2020
So mercury retrograde started a few days ago and over the weekend I have seen, I swear at least 400 posts from mommas in my timeline fretting.
I wanted to post a friendly reminder that we will get through this okay?!? There's no need to like hide in our bedrooms and lock the doors.
And I get it, a lot of us are still getting used to all the woo woo terminology flooding our social media timelines these days. Most of my friends who are in their thirties and are just now learning about the retrograde over the last few years.
A lot of news publications are catching on to the popularity of these more spiritual and holistic happenings and really putting crazy almost scary spins on everything (because let’s be real...that’s what the media does.)
But enough long talking, here are my tips for making it through.

Tip #1: Self Care (02:18)
This is the time for self care.
Things to focus on:
Eating right. Plant based diet all the way.
Sleeping, all the hours.
Getting some movement going on in your body, whether it's with yoga or dance sessions.
This is also a great time to detox.
Consider, adding a spiritual bath or two into your regimen as well. Keep your body right and then that'll keep your vibe right which will make it smoother for you to cruise on through this retrograde.
Tip #2: Bind soul ties (02:50)
So many mommas have said that they've already just ran into exes that they haven't seen for years. And I believe when you run into these people randomly, that that’s the universe telling you like, “Hey, these are the people you have loose ends with.”
Do some research on binding, on breaking soul ties, etc, and get that shit handled.
You can be friendly/polite with your actions. You don't have to run in the next direction when you see an ex. You know what I mean? Because the retrograde is also a time for all of the "R's".
Reflection
Recharge
Redesign
Rekindle, etc. Not necessarily rekindle in a romantic way, but yeah, you can definitely use it to readdress some situations that you and your ex have gone through.
But keep it cordial, not overly friendly. Keep the kitty in the cage. Okay.
Tip #3: Study (03:53)
To me. This is the perfect way to counteract mercury retrograde while everyone else is panicking and locking themselves indoors. This is your time while your girlfriends don't want to go out for the next few weeks to do some internal work and see what you want your next move to be when the retrograde ends.

Tip #4: Forgiveness (04:25)
Forgiveness is the key to it all and it'll really get you through this time.
A great exercise that you can do over the next few weeks is to keep a journal, use it for gratitude, use it to reflect, to write down any of those ideas and things you might want to any new endeavors you might have as we progress into 2020
Maybe revisit a few places that you used to enjoy hanging out with in former years and former times, and write about those feelings in those experiences.
Be gracious with yourself.
Conclusion:
Remember that we're always changing. Everything's always moving. So instead of being like, Oh my God, you know, mercury is moved this amount of, and that means that the water and our bodies are being pulled in this direction and all of that...pause...we're always changing.
No need to fear momma. We got you. So my biggest insight is to reflect, cleanse, and recharge over the next few weeks.
